Blue Bell drawers are available in heights of 3”, 6”, 9”, and 12” sizes.
When choosing drawer sizes for your custom cart, consider the use and need of the workstation. Then choose your
drawer sizes so that the total of the drawers fit into the available space in the cart.
For example:
Five 3” drawers (a total of 15”) and two 6” drawers (a total of 12”) fit into a 27” cart.
Four 3” drawers (a total of 12”) and one 6”, and one 9” drawer fit into a 27” cart.
Use this same method for any Blue Bell cart.
Note: When using a 22” cart, one of the drawers must be 4”. 12” drawers are not available on the BAC-21C.
Note: The malignant hyperthermia workstation drawer space available is 9” due to the placement of the refrigerator
in the drawer space.
When choosing your drawer configuration, also consider these items.
A sliding drawer shelf can be used in place of a drawer. Great for laptop computers, keyboards, or other equipment. Available in any
of Blue Bell’s 16 colors. The SDSN-1 standard size can replace drawers in the BAC-30, BAC-27, BAC-22, and BHC-2 carts. The
SDSN-3 compact size can replace drawers in BAC-30C, BAC-27C, and BAC-21C carts. Contact Blue Bell Customer Service for part numbers.
A locking lid (LID-1) can be added to 3” drawers to provide double security for narcotics or securing patient valuables. Available in Vanilla.
Available for standard size carts: BAC-30, BAC-27, BAC-22, and BHC-2.
A writing desk tray (WDTN-2) can be added to any drawer to provide a writing or work surface plus still use the drawer for storage.
Just lift the writing desk tray using the handy finger grip to access drawer contents. Available in Vanilla. Available for
standard size carts: BAC-30, BAC-27, BAC-22, and BHC-2.
